Some early morning trains will depart early during the leaf fall season

We’re now approaching that time of the year when “leaves on the line” affects the running of train services. Several early morning trains from Tonbridge are retimed on Mondays to Fridays betweeen Monday 30th September 2013 and Friday 6th December 2013. The following changes apply:

• On the mainline to London via Sevenoaks the following trains will depart earlier than usual from Tonbridge:
• The 04 52 to Charing Cross departs at 04 50 and runs 2 minutes earlier to Orpington
• The 05 32 to Charing Cross departs at 05 29 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Orpington
• The 05 50 to Charing Cross departs at 05 48 and runs 2 minutes earlier to Sevenoaks
• The 06 00 to Cannon Street departs at 05 57 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Sevenoaks
• The 06 06 to Charing Cross departs at 06 03 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Sevenoaks
• The 06 32 to Charing Cross departs at 06 29 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Sevenoaks
• The 07 02 to Charing Cross departs at 06 59 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Sevenoaks
• The 07 23 to Charing Cross departs at 07 20 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Sevenoaks

Note also that the following trains towards Hastings will depart earlier than usual:

• The 06 08 to Ore departs at 06 05 and run 3 minutes earlier to Battle
• The 06 35 to Hastings departs at 06 32 and run 3 minutes earlier to Battle

Several Southern trains to Redhill will also depart earlier than normal – important if you’re trying to reach Gatwick Airport:

• The 04 59 to Redhill departs at 04 51 and runs earlier throughout, arriving at 05.25.
• The 05 20 from to Redhill departs at 05 17 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Nutfield, arriving at Redhill as booked.
• The 06 47 to Redhill departs at 06 45 and runs 2 minutes earlier to Nutfield, arriving at Redhill as booked.
• The 07 25 to London Victoria departs at 07 22 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Redhill, then as booked.
• The 08 16 to London Victoria departs at 08 13 and runs 3 minutes earlier to Redhill, then as booked.

In addition, the 05 35 from Redhill to Tonbridge starts at 05 30 and runs 5 minutes earlier to Leigh, arriving at Tonbridge as booked.
