On Wednesday 1 February and Friday 3 February members of the ASLEF and RMT unions will be taking strike action and there will be no train services from Tonbridge or any of the other stations in our area. In addition to Southeastern, the ASLEF dispute now includes GTR, the parent company of Southern trains. This means that both Southeastern and Southern will not be running any trains on either day.
Southeastern has said that it intends to run a normal service on Thursday 2 February (the day between the strikes) and Saturday 3 February (the day after the second strike). In contrast, Southern has said that its services will start up late on those days. The first Tonbridge-Redhill lines due to operate on Thursday 2 February appear to be:

- 07:52 Redhill to Tonbridge (departs Edenbridge at 08:08)
It is worth noting that there are currently three separate industrial disputes on the railway. The RMT is in dispute with train operating companies, and has a separate dispute with Network Rail. Meanwhile ASLEF, the train drivers’ union, is in dispute with train operating companies. The ASLEF dispute currently appears to be the one furthest away from resolution, so passengers can expect more strikes even if the RMT disputes are resolved.
